Murphy's Giving Market

Pre-K and Kindergarten students were thrilled with all the donations that came in to support Murphy's Giving Market. We collected all the food and sorted it into categories. Can you believe we collected over 2000 items? Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting our drive!

We love science!

On Tuesday, the early childhood students welcome Mr. John Touhill, father of Aubree (N3), and Mr. Matt Valeri, father of Sophia (N2), for a hands-on STEM presentation on water quality. The students learned about the importance of clean water and pH levels. The children were able to test the pH levels of several different liquids using both pH testing strips and electrochemical meters to determine their acidity. The students loved working like real scientists!

We are so grateful to Mr. Touhill and his company, ThermoFisher Scientific, for providing us with this wonderful opportunity. They also treated us to a delicious snack of soft pretzels and applesauce and each child went home with a Nalgene water bottle as well.
