April 29 - May 3, 2019

On Monday in STEAM class, we played with bubbles!  The Pre-K made bubble wands out of Zome Tools the week before. They built a variety of shapes for their wands - squares, triangles, diamonds, trapezoids, and even cubes! Mrs. Zwilling asked "When you blow the bubbles from your wand, what shape will the bubble be?" The students all hypothesized that the bubbles would take the shape of the wand. They were so surprised when all the bubbles came out round!

Mrs. Zwilling showed us how to make a square bubble!  It was "so cool!" We even learned that the square bubble formed because of surface tension!

Thank you to Jordyn's mom and Scarlett's mom for being our Mystery Readers this week!

The boys and girls love having guests come to read and are eagerly anticipating who will be our next guest! If you would like to sign up to be a Mystery Reader, please click here. If none of the dates listed work for you, please let me know and we can try to figure out a different time.

BIG NEWS!

Farmer Gabe came to school on Tuesday to drop off our eggs and we are taking good care of them. We can't wait to share all we have learned at the Early Childhood Celebration on May 15th! An important letter about the celebration is coming home today. Please let us know if you have any questions. We are hoping that every child will have at least one parent in attendance.

Thank you again to the Joco family for the pizza party on Friday! It was a great celebration of a very special day in their lives. We were so thankful to be able to share in their joy!
