May 6-10, 2019

Thank you to Austin's (and Grace's) dad and Lily's mom for being our Mystery Readers this week!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read to the students. The boys and girls love having you! If you would like to sign up to be a Mystery Reader, please click here. If none of the dates listed work for you, please let me know and we can try to figure out a different time.

Thank you to Charity and her family for sending in popsicles for the class! What a special treat!

We continued our celebration of Earth Day this week by planting flowers. The students in Pre-K and Nursery filled pots with soil and planted some impatiens to brighten the porch at 480. All HCA students worked at school and around the community to celebrate Earth Day.

Some reminders:
  • Please make sure students are on time for school next week. We will be practicing first thing in the morning for our celebration. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
  • Please refer to the letter and email that were sent regarding the details for the celebration. Please keep practicing your child's lines with him/her every night. All students should come to school in their assigned color shirt. We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday morning!

The Early Childhood students are so eager to share all they have learned about the baby chicks with you at our celebration! It was an exciting week at HCA when all 12 of our chicks hatched! Take a look:

Have a great weekend!
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms! Hope you have a wonderful day with your families!
